Where it all started

Beth AKA Trev (Bethan Trevett – founder) has 15+ years of experience in hospitality, running nightclubs, hotel bars, cocktail bars, independent pubs & restaurants. The idea of The Wonder Bar came to life when we ran our first bar for 500 guests at a rave on NYE ‘16. Since then, we’ve run the bars at a whole host of different events, including corporate events, weddings & private festivals.

We branched out into doing Cocktail Workshops in 2017 & now host a whole range of different themed events.

We want to use The Wonder Bar to make positive changes in the world. As a business, we feel we have a duty to help our consumers make the right choices in where their money goes.

  • Everyone gets paid the same, regardless of age.

  • Inspire those to work in hospitality – We want to empower people that work in the industry!

  • We aim to be a living wage employer by 2021.

  • Support local organisations: drug & alcohol rehabilitation, suicide awareness & mental health charities.

  • Manage our waste responsibly & recycle as much as possible.

  • Limit our single use plastic.

  • Use biodegradable or reusable packaging for our products.

  • Grow our own herbs & fruit (as well as plenty of flowers for the bees!)
